Are your cribs safe? All baby product manufactures that we represent are required by federal law to abide by the rules of the CPSC (Consumer Products Safety Commission) in order to operate in our industry. All of the cribs we sell are made to the federal guidelines and standards set forth by the CPSC, as well as the ASTM (American Society of Testing Materials). The cribs are tested according to JPMA regulation and must meet even more stringent criteria than those of the CPSC and ASTM.

What Kind of wood are they made of? Most of our cribs are made out of quality Asian hardwood. Our Italian-made cribs (which are the cribs with the drawer on the bottom) are made out of beech wood harvested from Eastern Europe, right across the border from Italy. We have the California collection that uses solid American oak. We also are using a variation of Asian pine wood for such products such as the Elizabeth.
